Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

For those of you who don't know, Canada Day was celebrated on July 1st (that's just to confuse the Americans, I know). Fredericton usually has some spiffy firework display downtown - it was rainy and miserable the whole day, and we procrastinated to the last minute because we thought they might postpone it, but they didn't , and we made it to the northside (of the river) to watch it just in time. I tried to take some good pictures, but unfortunately I still need lots of practise!
