Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

I'm traveling to St. Stephen, New Brunswick this weekend, to get my new 5-month work visa. It only took the feds 6 months to issue it, this time...For some reason, even though I'm already INSIDE Canada, they will pretend that I'm entering it (from the US), and issue the visa. Oh, well...
Hopefully the border guards won't send me into no-man's land between the two border posts (you never know what those American Freedom Snipers might do!). While we're in that vicinity, we might as well swing by the lovely St.Andrews ("-by-the-Sea", as the tourists know it), and buy some more Maple-Flavoured Rooibos Tea, at a little shop called "Garden by the Sea".
