Noise, anyone?

I'm sitting staring at the fast flowing river, and thinking about...people, in general, and neighbours, in particular. Ever since the neighbours moved into the house that's attached to my little cottage, things have been a little more...noisier here in Gagetown. A few night's ago it sounded as if we had been invaded by a herd of elephants. Big ones. And the Bull elephant was nowhere to be found...So I complained to the landlady, who in turn threatened to throw the neigbours out, and then the dad came and told me some sad story. Now I feel bad about complaining. Sigh. Sometimes it's just so hard to convince people to respect the space they share with other people...But I'm tired of being treated as if I'm invisible.
