Just the first of many, I suppose. Could never understand why parents would walk around with their kids' photos in their wallets - now I guess I do.

Meanwhile, for those of you not interested in all this baby-stuff, it's been hellishly warm in Canberra of late. Yesterday was 38 degrees, and today the temperature reached 40. Not nice at all. Thank heavens we have air-con...

Oh yes, and today the Aus PM, good ol' John Hobbit, I mean Howard, fully endorsed the "new" Bush plan to send more troops to Iraq.

    And, it's NOT an escalation! (before they invade Iran, which they will do before the end of Bush's presidency!)
