Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

We spent a few harrowing hours at the Canberra Hospital ER on Tuesday night, after Baby M was diagnosed with bronchiolitis by our GP, who immediately sent us to the emergency room to have oxygen administered. (That was after his colleague diagnosed Baby M as having asthma the previous evening, but that's another story). Luckily we could take him back home with us in the wee hours of Wednesday morning (which of course left both of us bushed for the rest of the day). The only comment that I wish to make about that particular ER: try not to go there, if you can. Baby is still coughing and wheezing, but not as much as on Monday and Tuesday, thank goodness. Mrs B and I are playing tag-team to keep him at home until he's better. Now would have been a good time to have a grandmother handy to give us a break...
