Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

Here's a nice picture of St. Andrews-by-the sea, on the Bay of Fundy. We drove there after visiting the border town of St. Stephen, to "get our papers in order". After the surreal experience of having to physically leave the country in order to get her work visa validated, Hannelie is on her way to Halifax, to teach at St. Mary's University. (We had to drive down to St.Stephen, a little town on the border between New Brunswick and Maine, which is also the closest international border post). I'll be staying here in Fredericton for a while, to finish my contract with the provincial government. I'm dismantling and packing the computer away just after this posting, so I don't know how soon I'll post again. Hopefully before too long.
