Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

Last week was the Fredericton Harvest Jazz & Blues festival, and Hannelie came down from Halifax to take in some of the events. Some of the performers couldn't be thre, because of the New orleans disaster, but it was still a good fest. We went to see the amazing Danielia Cotton on Saturday - what a great show! She's one part Tracy Chapman, and two parts Lenny Kravitz rollled into one - not really bluesy, but it was a great show nonetheless. Very electric!
