Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

In case you haven't heard, while we lucky sods here in the Maritimes are having a pretty mild winter, Moscow (and most of Russia) is currently experiencing one of its coldest winters in history. So cold, in fact, that a local circus owner gave the resident elephants a vodka cocktail to ward of the chills. However, one of the elephants got so drunk, that it almost wrecked the circus. Maybe they should have given it Amarula liquor instead of Vodka!
