Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

Well, it seems as if Atlantic Canada, at least, decided to stay on the central-left side of the political spectrum in Canada. However, the Conservative West has Won, so to speak, and we'll have to see how that impacts the rest of Canada, especially here in the Maritimes. New Prime Minister-Elect Stephen Harper has said some pretty awful things about Atlantic Canada in the past...Anyway, here are some pics of the Spring Garden/Citadel Hill area of downtown Halifax after Sunday night's snowstorm:
