Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

It's slooowly starting to warm up here in the Saint John River valley, and things are starting to turn green. Still not a lot of flowers around though (although there's just enough pollen in the air to make my eyes water every time I go out!). We went for a long bike ride this afternoon, along one of the country roads jutting out from Gagetown - the sun was bright and the sky was blue, but there was still a chill in the air. Sigh...Maybe tomorrow the wind will stay away too. Lots of apple orchards around. I'm sure it will be spectacular once they're in bloom.
