Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

I took the picture of the deer this morning from the (grubby) car window at "moose corner" - the spot on the Gagetown road where I've already seen several Moose (Maybe it's a regular animal crossing spot?).

I got a fright this afternoon, when I was going home after work - just off the highway towards Gagetown, there was an RCMP road block...Luckily the officer didn't want to see my passport, otherwise I may have had some explaining to do...(although he did say I looked familiar..Maybe my pic is up on the 'wanted' poster somewhere...).
