Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

We had a good time yesterday on Crystal Crescent Beach, just outside of Halifax - sun was shining, blue skies and perfect temperatures. Nice sandy beaches too, although the water was freezing! It's still a lot cooler in Halifax than in Fredericton - I see it was over 30 degrees here in New Brunswick this weekend! I was hoping to bring Hannelie back to Gagetown this week, but she had to stay behind in Halifax, to try and sort out our impending move (even though we're still not sure about the 'when' and 'where'). We're also having a tough time assigning our lease to someone else..Hannelie is getting a bit frustrated - people showing interest, and then not returning her calls. It seems that we'll have to pay up for July...there goes our savings...Oh well. That means we don't have to worry about putting the furniture in storage just yet. We're also trying to get rid of some of our stuff - we can't take any electrical appliances with us. Anybody interested in an (almost) brand-new Sony DVD player and Stereo Amplifier? Just give me a shout...
