Dark Skies

About two weeks ago we went to the IWK Hospital in Halifax to get X-rays done for our Aus Visa application - And what a process that was! First the X-Ray section's admin person was unhelpful and unfriendly, and then the attending radiographer almost didn't take an X-ray of Hannelie (because of her pregnancy). The attending (overpaid) Radiologist was absent, and we had to wait for him to give his OK, and sign the forms. When we finally got back to the Official Australian Immigration Approved Doctor (there's only ONE in each Canadian province), he told us the the radiologist, in his haste to get back to whatever he was doing (probably driving around in his Porsche), filled out the forms incorrectly...So, we had to slog all the way back to the IWK , get the radiographer to see us again, and asked her (not so nicely), to please fill out the forms correctly. And then we walked back to the Immigration doctor. The forms were couriered (at our expense) to the Aus Immigration office in Melbourne. Today, we got an e-mail from the immigration consultant, telling us that the stupid, incompetent radiologist had FILLED THE FORMS IN WRONG THE SECOND TIME TOO!!! Now, we have to go through that whole exercise again, because the Australian Immigration people didn't want to accept the X-Rays... What else will go wrong...We must have some very bad curses on us...
