A family outing

We went on our first true outing as a family yesterday, to the lovely National Botanic Gardens, where we met up with some good samaritans who took pity on us shell-shocked first-time parents. One of them just had a little baby boy five days earlier, her second child, and was going about her business as if nothing had happened. Truly a humbling experience.

Baby Martin was very good, and slept all through our visit. Maybe that was because the little bugger kept us up all night the previous evening...
