Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

Apologies for the long silence, but I am (some would say unfortunately) still alive here in the upside-down-land, having successfully fended off sick babies, pending bankruptcy, mental breakdowns and demanding bosses. Anyway. Autumn is well and truly here, and we went for a delightful stroll this weekend along the shores of Lake Ginninderra, a lovely lake close to our house. We even saw some rare black swans...
