The Doctor at Work

I went along to one of Hannelie's field sites on Tuesday, to have a look at what she's doing (you never know, for all I knew she spends her days partying). It's a site outside Canberra, near the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, and just over the hill from the NASA space tracking station (where they recorded the first moon transmissions in the 60's).
The grass looked pretty dismal to me - overgrazed (by successive armadas of kangaroos, cattle and sheep) and now also thoroughly drought-stricken. Not a lot of material for her to sample for analysis, but what can you do, that's how research works...
Just thought that I should mention that the akward way that I'm sitting is the most comfortable position to accommodate my growing belly and minimize the amount of kicking from Junior ... not sure how much longer I will be able to keep up the field work ...
Hannelie,
You look like you are dressed warm. Was it cool there when the pic was taken?
Hope everything is going fine for you Botha Jr..
