Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

While the whole of Oz were getting ready to cast their votes to get rid of their current Prime Minister, we drove down to the fly-infested beautiful NSW south coast for a quick holiday - mostly to allow the Dr to catch her breath before starting her new job on Monday...


We had four days of rain, but all was saved by one glorious Saturday (election day) of sunshine (we should have guessed - the clouds lifting were a sign that the conservative government was finally axed by the masses). The LM also thoroughly enjoyed his (literally) first taste of the beach.

PS. Just one thing: About that infamous Ozzie hat - the one with the corks hanging around the brim to keep the flies away - Not a Joke!
