Dispatches from the sunburned wastelands

Yesterday, we drove to Goulbourn, a pretty country town about an hour's drive north of Canberra, where we saw this:

We also saw the LM's orthopedic surgeon, who told us that Martin's feet were fine, wonderful and perfect, and we only need to come back to see him in a year's time. So now we've reduced the Wearing of the Shoes to sleeptime. Whoohoo!

I was also informed by the Powers that Be, that I haven't posted a new pic of the LM for quite a while now, so here goes:
